The Opportunity

We're seeking a dynamic Temporary Full-Time Teacher (K-6) to inspire our students, starting Term 3. This is your chance to contribute significantly to our daily learning and spiritual growth, fully integrating into our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects and year levels.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies.
  • Adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse student needs and learning styles.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure curriculum continuity and school-wide initiatives.
  • Adhere to school policies, procedures, and Catholic ethos.
  • Participate fully in school life, including staff meetings, professional development, and extra-curricular activities as required.

About You: The ideal candidate will be:
  • A passionate, committed, and adaptable educator with a strong commitment to student learning and well-being.
  • Able to quickly establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Flexible and willing to contribute across different year levels as required by the school.
  • Committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and faith-filled classroom atmosphere.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a primary school setting is highly regarded.

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CSPD's Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.
