Account Manager – Fire Protection
Love sales, travel, and building relationships? This isn't your average sales role. Join a culture that rewards teamwork, supports your growth, and treats you as a partner – not a subordinate. Enjoy uncapped commission, high-calibre clients, and premium products. Join a team where employees stay long term – this company has almost no staff turnover, thanks to a culture full of opportunities, including promotion, career development, internal relocation, and ongoing learning beyond onboarding. This international business invests in its people, supporting growth, development, and success at every step.
Why You Will Love This Role
- Strong base salary with uncapped commission – your effort directly equals your reward.
- Team based bonus structure – collaborate effectively, as your success contributes to the team's success, and vice versa.
- Flexible work environment – work from home while being accountable for your results, with access to top tier training and ongoing development.
- Premium training – including international training opportunities to sharpen your skills.
- Relationship building budget – lunches, dinners, cafés, or drinks to nurture connections and create demand.
- Extensive product range – sell across a full spectrum of fire protection solutions.
- Territory travel with company vehicle – visit fire contractors, engineers, and distributors to influence and promote your full product range.
- Autonomy with support – manage your territory and accounts while receiving management backing.
You are commercially driven, technically sharp, and confident influencing stakeholders at all levels. You thrive on building relationships, turning opportunities into revenue, and creating demand. You have strong analytical skills, understand budgets, and know how to strategically convert opportunities into sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business and maintain existing accounts within your territory.
- Cultivate strong relationships to drive product adoption and sales with fire contractors, engineers, and distributors.
- Maximise project specifications and convert opportunities into revenue.
- Collaborate with the Regional Manager to map the market and develop roadmaps.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide actionable insights.
- Travel across your territory to engage with customers, with occasional state and international travel for training and development as required.
- Proven technical sales experience – construction or fire protection industry preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen, solution-oriented mindset, and hunger for results.
- Confident communicator and relationship builder.
- Self-motivated and capable of independent decision making.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and hold a current driver's licence.
- Initiative, resilience, persistence, and the ability to build lasting relationships.
- Technical aptitude and commercially astute approach to opportunity development.
This is your chance to join a high performing, supportive culture where your efforts are rewarded, your skills are developed, and your career can soar. Call Sheryl Taylor on 0452 541 *** or email ******@cooindasearch.com to discuss this opportunity on behalf of our client.
