Overview

Home Care Support Worker – Campsie, Wellways Australia. Casual job located in Campsie, NSW. Salary: $36.23 p/hr SCHADS - Level 3.2E with salary packaging benefits up to $15,899 per annum. Flexible shifts (AM and PM).

Responsibilities

The Disability Support Worker offers carer support services and is responsible for the delivery of services purchased through iCare. You will support our participant with daily activities and provide reliable, person-centred support.

What you need (Qualifications)
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services or related fields (an advantage but not mandatory) or relevant experience
  • A current valid Driver\'s License and a registered, insured vehicle
  • Satisfactory Police Records Check [less than 12 months old] and Working with Children Check
  • Manual handling training desirable
  • Rights to work in Australia
  • Experience working with young people or teenagers
  • Willing to work flexible hours on a fortnightly roster
  • Availability and willingness to use personal smartphone (iPhone or Android)
  • Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
