The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Offensive Security Consultant to join a dynamic and growing Cyber Security team. This role offers the chance to work on pure Pen Testing and Red Team projects for top-tier clients, with flexible working arrangements including hybrid and remote options. The successful candidate will be instrumental in assisting the exploitation of our clients' customers' infrastructure and networks.

What you'll do:

As an Offensive Security Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a range of engagements for multiple clients. Your day-to-day tasks will involve performing comprehensive vulnerability assessments, conducting penetration testing of various applications, and engaging in both pre-sales and post-sales activities. You will also take on Red Teaming and Offensive Security responsibilities, contributing significantly to the growth and success of our Cyber Security team.

  • Perform comprehensive Vulnerability Assessments (Internals, Externals, Web Application and Database)
  • Conduct penetration testing of mobile and/or native applications
  • Carry out extensive manual penetration testing of web applications and infrastructure
  • Engage in pre-sales and post-sales activities
  • Take on Red Teaming & Offensive Security responsibilities

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Offensive Security Consultant role brings a minimum of two years' experience as a security consultant or penetration tester. She possesses strong verbal and written communication skills, which are essential for effectively liaising with clients and team members. An Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification is highly desirable, as is NV1 Security Clearance. The successful candidate will be based in either Sydney or Canberra.
