Situated within moments of the CBD, International Grammar School (IGS) is Sydney's unique independent, coeducational, secular school offering quality teaching from Preschool to Year 12. Our unique bilingual program immerses students in a second language every day.

We are now seeking to appoint an experienced French Teacher commencing Term 3 2025 on a full time ongoing basis. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, will show independent initiative and will have a thorough knowledge of the NSW K-10 Modern Languages syllabus and NESA Stage 6 French syllabuses. Successful experience in teaching Stage 6 courses, including French Extension is essential. The candidate will also have a strong understanding of French culture and well-developed skills in using ICT for authentic and meaningful learning.

Our French language teacher candidate will have a strong academic background, be an exemplary role model of professionalism and collegiality, and will perform their role with integrity, enthusiasm and energy.

To be considered for this role, candidates must hold an appropriate tertiary qualification and be fluent in the language(s) taught. The successful applicant will become part of a supportive and inclusive team that values staff well-being and offers opportunities for professional development and training.

• as applicable, details of your visa or work permit for verification. The successful candidate must have and maintain current working rights in Australia.
• Evidence of Band 2 or 3 classification, as applicable
• COVID-19 vaccination status in accordance with the current IGS Vaccination Policy
