Company Description
At TOMRA, transformation is at the heart of everything we do. We transform ideas & technology to create intelligent and pioneering tools to support a sustainable future. For decades, we've pushed boundaries globally and we'll continue to drive greater resource responsibility throughout industries and society. Here in Australia, our reverse vending machines enable the collection of empty drink containers to ensure that containers have the best chance of being turned back into containers again – time after time. In QLD and WA we partner with Containers for Change to provide convenient options for our customers to recycle their beverage containers in the hopes to encourage them to join the Clean Loop Recycling revolution
TOMRA is an equal opportunity employer, where we recognise the diversity of our workforce and community – be it on the basis of gender, age, culture, religion, language or personal circumstances. TOMRA is also committed to building on the perspectives, experience, knowledge and skills that this diversity brings to our organisation.
As a 'Looper' at TOMRA, you will be working amongst a team of people, who are very passionate about doing good for the environment and our community. Our Recycling Centre Attendants are the champions for the Containers for Change Scheme and play an important role in ensuring that our customers return to our recycling centres time and time again. They achieve this by ensuring our customers have a great experience when visiting our centres by providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the recycling centre is clean and tidy and ensuring our machines and sorting equipment are running as intended. Our Recycling Centre Attendants also play a large role in boosting the TOMRA brand and are the face of TOMRA here in Australia.
What you'll be doing:- Delivering exceptional customer service to ensure our customers have a great experience
- Ensuring the recycling centre is well presented by maintaining a safe, clean, efficient and professional environment for team members and TOMRA customers
- Carrying out regular cleaning and maintenance of our reverse vending machines and sorting equipment
- Ensuring the sorting equipment is running efficiently by removing and replacing collection bins as they fill up

- Have a keen eye for detail and a motivation to maintain a clean work environment
