Village Roadshow Theme Parks invites applications for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join the Movie World Maintenance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment across Movie World Business Unit sites.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Perform basic handyman maintenance tasks
- Maintain various types of kitchen equipment
- Carry out basic unregulated plumbing, air conditioning and refrigerated maintenance
- Organize Fire contractors to maintain fire protection systems
- Assist contractors with air conditioning, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, plumbing and other tasks as required
- Manage stock levels in areas of responsibility and complete Maximo generated work orders on time
- You have previous experience in a similar role
- You possess basic knowledge of facilities plant and equipment
- You are available to work 5 days a week and can be called upon to work weekends if required
- You can work autonomously and manage your own workload
- You hold an engineering, building or equivalent related Trades Certificate
- EWP and Forklift License is desirable
