Production Manager

We are a long standing, Western Australian manufacturing company specializing in the rotational molding of liquid systems for the agricultural, industrial, civil and domestic markets.
We seek a skilled full time Production Manager to run our Canning Vale based Roto-moulding production facilities, working closely with our technical manager & production supervisors. We are a high quality, proud and innovative company moving forward with progressive growth so if you're an ambitious, performance driven leader, you sound like our person.
We expect you to have a hands-on approach, thorough know-how with plant and production systems and procedures. An ability to lead production staff, to maintain high team performance, problem solve and lead the team to achieve and maintain results.

Requirements:
This is a skilled specialist position, you must have or can demonstrate the following.
Ability to manage a team to achieve effective outcomes.
Ability to drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Have at least 5 years' experience in manufacturing preferably within the plastics molding sector
Excellent practical / mechanical knowledge and not afraid to get hands dirty
Have the ability to meet deadlines and achieve daily production targets
Have strong team building and leadership skills
Be capable to maintain efficient, productive management of Roto-molding plant and production team
Have previous experience with material stock level management
Capability with following company OH&S and Safe Operational procedures
Capability to read drawings and instruct staff with technical queries
Be physically fit and willing to work within a team environment
Hold current High Risk forklift license
Undergo pre-employment medical assessment and Drug and Alcohol test
