About the Team

In Stripe's mission to increase the GDP of the internet, our Workplace Experience Operations team plays a crucial role in building and operating inspirational work environments. This team is part of the broader Finance organization, focusing on creating offices that are warm, comfortable, welcoming, and reflect Stripe's operating principles and the highly regulated industry it operates in, where safety, security, and confidentiality are paramount.

Responsibilities
  • Workplace Operations: Oversee daily workplace operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and a high standard of hospitality for all employees and guests.
  • Vendor Management: Work closely with global Workplace colleagues, cross-functional partner teams, and functional leaders to ensure that office vendors deliver exceptional services in accordance with documented standards, meeting both business and customer expectations.
  • Site-Specific Programs: Implement and support site-specific workplace programs (e.g., space planning, EHS, food services) in alignment with global standards developed by the Programs Team.
  • Financial Management: Manage site-specific budget, track expenses, process invoices, and support financial forecasting for future OPEX expenditures.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, department heads, and cross-functional teams, to ensure the office(s) you manage is a productive, comfortable environment that reflects Stripe's Workplace philosophies.
The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

  • Office/Facilities Management: 5 years of experience in a fast-paced environment with a working knowledge of building systems and operational best practices
  • Vendor and Budget Management: Demonstrated abilities and strengths in vendor and budget management
  • Relationship Building: Strength in building relationships with key partners to ensure efficiency and understanding on cross-functional projects
  • Organizational Skills: A proven ability to juggle multiple deadlines and projects; be highly organized with analytical skills
  • Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
