Senior Recruitment Consultant at Woods & CoWoods & Co Recruitment have partnered with a global powerhouse in access control and smart infrastructure solutions. Experiencing 10% growth year-on-year for the past five years and recently forming a partnership with a multi-billion-euro company, this business is in a period of rapid expansion and innovation.
We are on the hunt for a technically minded, solutions-focused Pre-Sales & Solutions – Systems Engineer to join their Melbourne team. This role offers the chance to combine your technical expertise with pre-sales strategy, solution design, and client engagement, all while working with cutting-edge technology in a global environment.

- Act as the technical expert in pre-sales discussions, supporting the sales team with tailored solution design
- Collaborate with clients to define use cases and translate them into functional specifications
- Prepare and maintain documentation including training manuals, solution designs, and test plans
- Deliver technical product demonstrations and training sessions for clients and internal teams
- Test and validate new hardware/software releases in a controlled environment
- Provide Level 3 support to internal teams, assisting with escalated service tickets
- Contribute to product rollouts, system integration design, and new feature implementation
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related discipline
- 3+ years in pre-sales, solution design, systems engineering, or technical support
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills
- Knowledge of system integration, APIs (REST/SOAP), and hardware I/O or relay systems
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, Visio, Teams & Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a customer-first approach
