Join our Bunbury Children's Contact Service as a Contact Support Worker In this role, you will promote the wellbeing of children during supervised visits or changeovers by supervising interactions and behaviours to ensure the children feel safe and comfortable. You will also write reports for the family court.
This is a part-time opportunity (7.5 hours per fortnight) based in Bunbury, working every second Saturday.
Skills and Experiences:
What You Will Bring
You are passionate and talented, driven to deliver quality service for our clients. To succeed, you will:
- Hold a minimum qualification of Certificate IV in Community Services or a relevant field, be working towards or have a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or related field
- Have knowledge of issues affecting children and families such as Family Separation, Family and Domestic Violence, Mental Health, Substance Misuse, and Trauma
- Focus on supporting children and adults to enhance relationships and respond to safety and risk issues
- Be committed to child-focused and child-inclusive practice
- Be able to work weekends and attend after-hours training
Benefits
- Base rate of $38.66 per hour plus weekend penalties and 12% superannuation
