We're looking for a skilled Network Engineer to support and maintain our enterprise network infrastructure. This hands-on role involves resolving technical issues, managing complex systems, and playing an integral part in transformation projects.
Your New TeamYou'll join a team of 10–11 network specialists who are passionate about technology, team collaboration and delivering smart infrastructure solutions. The team is growing and evolving, with a flat structure that supports knowledge-sharing, mentorship, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Level 2/3 technical support and troubleshoot network infrastructure issues
- Configure and operate network hardware including switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and SD-WAN
- Perform monitoring, performance tuning, and trend analysis
- Maintain and improve network documentation, processes, and disaster recovery plans
- Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call roster (with additional weekly allowance)
- Support both project delivery and operational tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with stakeholders and escalate issues appropriately
- Mentor team members and share technical expertise
- 3+ years of experience in network operations and support within complex enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on knowledge across: Cisco Nexus & Catalyst switching, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLAN, QoS, Palo Alto Firewalls, Meraki SD-WAN and Wireless, AWS Direct Connect, Megaport, F5 BIG-IP, Citrix NetScaler
- Experience with enterprise monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Solid understanding of network security best practices
- Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, Meraki Solutions Specialist)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Desirable: CCNP, PCNSE/PCNSA, VoIP knowledge, ACI, Genesis, and SASE exposure
- Hybrid Work: Work from home 2 days a week, with our office located in Toowong.
