The Firm

This firm is a group of Chartered Accounting professionals who provide a full range of accounting and financial services to their diverse client base spread throughout Australia. Based in Fortitude Valley, this firm boasts an impressive client base and spend a substantial amount on learning and development for their staff. Due to strong growth in the business, a position has become available to join the team as a Senior Accountant.

The Opportunity

The firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the team. You will be working with a broad range of industries and be required to complete a variety of different business services & advisory tasks.

The role includes:

Preparation of income tax returns for companies, partnerships and trusts.

Preparation of financial reports for companies, partnerships and trusts.

Learning how to provide tax advice to clients, including attendance to client meetings.

Advise clients on the effects of tax on individuals and business activities.

Learning how to provide strategies for wealth creation, asset protection and tax minimisation.

Calculating complex tax issues for all entity types

Candidate & Remuneration

The ideal candidate will be hardworking and have great communication skills as quite often the role is required to be client facing. They will have the adequate qualifications and have previous experience within Business Services/Taxation in a public practice environment.

Minimum 4 years of public practice experience

Experience working with clients $1 million and above.

Business Services background

CA/CPA (or willing to obtain)
