DESCRIPTION

We're seeking experienced Area Managers to join our Customer Fulfillment team at our Fulfillment Center in Jandakot for the night shift.

As an Area Manager, you'll be directly responsible for leading and developing a team of Amazon associates in one of the following areas within the Fulfillment Center Operations: receive, stow, pick, pack, or ship. You will work to continuously improve the efficiency of delivery processes, ensuring that customer orders are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively as possible. Along with your peers, you'll ensure that all workflows run smoothly and that customer expectations are met, if not exceeded.

Please note the shift pattern is based on 4 nights on and 3 nights off (Wednesday to Saturday).

Key job responsibilities

  1. Leading and developing a team of Amazon associates.
  2. Maintaining Health and Safety standards within your area while promoting an inspiring Health and Safety culture on-site.
  3. Developing performance goals and objectives to achieve customer promise expectations and ensure accuracy and quality.
  4. Collaborating with all support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives.
  5. Partnering with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards.
  6. Reviewing the work forecasts and determining requirements to produce during the day to meet overall building objectives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Working experience in Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
  2. Experience as a manager involving sizable teams; you're a natural at motivating others and building strong relationships.
  3. Demonstrated ability in problem-solving and analytical capabilities: conducting and driving Dive Deep analysis on complex processes.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Direct management experience for employees and their performance.
  2. Experience with performance metrics and process improvement.
  3. Experience in Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  4. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or equivalent qualification.
