Volunteer Visitor with COTA SA - Friends for older people - Eastern suburbs, Rosslyn Park, Parkside and Evandale. Based in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia.

  • We match you with an older person based on shared interests and location and support you to create a friendship through regular visits.
Qualifications
  • Empathy, kindness, ability to chat about anything and willing to listen.
  • Maturity 18+
  • National Police Clearance (COTA SA can assist you to obtain this if you dont have one.)
What you need to become a visitor
  • Empathy, kindness, ability to chat about anything and willing to listen.

Time Commitment & Training
  • Regular visits: at least one hour weekly or fortnightly for more than 6 months.
  • Training: Successful completion of the COTA SA Community Visitors Scheme volunteer orientation.
