Mathematics Teacher (Tutoring and Intervention)

The Ranges Learning Centre is seeking a passionate primary or high school maths teacher (or suitably qualified educators) to join our growing team. We work with children of all ages who need support in literacy and numeracy.

Our centre specialises in providing lessons in MSL (Multisensory Structured Language), explicit writing instruction, maths intervention and early intervention.

We are looking for a maths teacher who is able to teach primary school aged students and high school students. They need to understand the importance of developing a conceptual understanding of maths, through multisensory learning, rather than rote learning. Familiarity or awareness of the Math U See program is desired, but not required.

Our centre is located in the beautiful Beaconsfield Upper shops. The centre is spacious, comfortable and bright. We work with families who are looking for additional support for their children who might be struggling in school, need some 1:1 support or perhaps are homeschooled.

Candidates must be willing and available to commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week (Monday - Friday). One or two afternoons is necessary. Commencement date will be the start of Term Two.
