The Firm

Results Legal is a specialist litigation firm with a positive and energetic culture. We practice exclusively in commercial litigation with emphasis on contract and partnership disputes, credit-based litigation including secured and unsecured banking and finance matters, insolvency, and legal recovery. Our client base includes publicly listed companies, banks, domestic and international credit insurance companies, corporate and business clients, and insolvency practitioners.

The Position

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic students, and those undergoing or recently completing their law degree, to join our team. This is a growing firm with multiple positions available throughout the year for students seeking a long-term career. The successful candidate will gain valuable practical experience and the opportunity to work directly on files, attend court hearings, and participate in the full employee experience. You'll be included in all social events, networking opportunities, training and internal meetings. We provide extensive training during the initial four-week placement, with the possibility of extension and retainment for successful candidates. A number of Principals and senior associates started in our business as Clerks and have grown with the firm, and you could be our next success story.

Responsibilities
  • Work directly on files and attend court hearings as part of your placement
  • Participate in training, internal meetings, and networking opportunities
  • Engage in social events and development activities
Who should apply?
  • Have or are completing a Bachelor of Laws
  • Ideally have completed or be in the process of completing Practical Legal Training (PLT)
  • Have a strong academic record
  • Exhibit excellent attention to detail
  • Be a fast and keen learner
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be willing to help and assist the team as required
  • Have an interest in commercial litigation
