The role
We are seeking committed Disability Support Workers forongoingshiftsin Kew, Caulfield and surrounding suburbs.If you have experience in disability support, this job may be great for you

Shift time:
Kew - Thursday 8:45am - 2pm
Caulfield - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 10am - 1pm

Essential criteria:

  • Minimum of12months paid experiencein supporting people with disabilities.
  • National Police Check clearance no older than 6 months.
  • Must have High Manual Handling Skills e.g. transferring people with hoist.
  • Must have High Challenging Behaviour skills such as physical and verbal aggression, absconding, self-harming.
  • Must haveexcellent communication skills.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance.
  • Comprehensive car insurance is essential.
  • Covid-19 fully vaccinated.
  • CurrentFirst AidandCPRcertificate.
  • Employment Working with Children's Check.
  • Two relevant, professional and industry related reference checks.
  • Willing to undertake up-skill training with HCA
