We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Educator to take on an Educational Leader position in our 59-place Goodstart Nelson Bay centre.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape our educational programs and support our dedicated team of professionals.

About the Role:

  • Lead and support the team, ensuring high standards of educational practices.
  • Primarily work in Kindergarten Room.
  • Assist with programming and planning (3 hours weekly dedicated to this task).
  • Work collaboratively with the Centre Director to enhance educational outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to other educators.
  • Support the team with immediate needs, especially during staff shortages.
  • Contribute to community engagement initiatives, including art projects and beach visits.

About You:

  • Strong background in early childhood education, with leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to support and mentor a team of educators.
  • Possession of a Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check.
