HR Services Officer – Sydney Olympic Park

The Opportunity

The intent of the HR Operations team is to optimise the HR offerings throughout the employee lifecycle by providing consistent and effective service to enable our Managers and Human Resources to succeed.

Working within the HR Operations team you will be first point of contact for HR-related queries and will be responsible for providing quality customer focused services to internal and external customers. This position uses IT system tools to record, track and manage HR support relating to the day to day operation of the HR Operations and has a solid focus on advocating and enforcing compliance of the Human Resources Information System, Workday.

As a HR Operations team member, you will develop strong relationships with multiple functions across Toll including the Global HR Operations team, Workday Administration, Payroll, IT, Managers and Employees to ensure the professional and efficient operation of the overall HR function.

As the HR Services Officer, you will:

  • Apply HR knowledge and skills to resolve customer queries in a prompt, professional manner.

  • Escalate queries where appropriate to Workday Specialists, Regional HR Operations teams, Centres of Expertise or Strategic HR Business Partners.

  • Actively support and execute compliance in the HRIS i.e On-board new employees, process change management, assist with troubleshoot errors and navigation & coach managers and HR in HRIS use.

  • Maintain knowledge of HR policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with the broader HR Operations teams (Global HR Operations Team, HRIS Workday Administration and Payroll).

  • Ensure the day to day activities are provided in accordance with HRs KPI's and SLA's and provide feedback to improve function.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 2+ years' provided HR Operations / Shared Services support to employees.

  • Knowledge of Fair Work and the National Employee Standards.

  • HRIS experience advantageous.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Good at diagnosing clients' needs and finding a way to solve them.

  • Efficient in the implementation of administrative duties.
