Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on an as-needed basis. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders, helping individuals improve their speech, language, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations to diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Provide therapy for patients with articulation, cognitive-communication, and swallowing difficulties.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on techniques to enhance communication and swallowing function.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including occupational and physical therapists, physicians, and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Stay current with best practices, research, and advancements in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Active and valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Missouri.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (preferred).
  • Experience: Prior experience in speech therapy (preferred but not required).
  • Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and patient-care skills.
  • Certifications: CPR certification (preferred).

Work Environment
  • PRN (as-needed) role with flexible scheduling options.
  • May involve working in hospitals, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, or home health settings.
  • Ability to work independently and provide high-quality, evidence-based care.
