In this role, you'll combine your analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and eye for detail to ensure our products not only meet but exceed quality standards. You'll be part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced lab environment, driving continuous improvement and supporting exciting research and development initiatives.

What you'll be doing

• Reporting regularly to the Lab Manager on laboratory functioning, equipment requirements, consumable budget within the laboratory area
• Managing your own testing schedule to align with product specs and production timelines
• Providing scientific support to quality and R&D projects
• Carrying out routine QC testing with precision and accuracy
• Investigating non-conforming results with a focus on root cause analysis
• Identifying and addressing potential compliance risks in the lab environment

About you

• Tertiary qualification in chemistry or a related science discipline
• 2-3+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or similar industry
• Strong background in analytical instrumentation and troubleshooting
• Confident with instrument software/hardware and IT troubleshooting
• Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) GLP principles
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise in a busy lab
• Excellent attention to detail and a mindset of continuous improvement
• Clear communicator who builds strong relationships with stakeholders
