Part-Time Social Media & Events Coordinator

About Us:

Yarn Trader is passionate about bringing the fiber arts community together through quality materials, inspiring projects, and meaningful connections. We're looking for a creative storyteller to help us share our passion and build excitement around all things yarn, knitting, and crafting.

What You'll Do:


• Create engaging content that captures our brand voice across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest)


• Tell compelling stories about our products, customers' creations, and the vibrant crafting community


• Develop and execute social media campaigns that drive engagement and build our following


• Design and promote customer events, workshops, and community gatherings


• Collaborate with our team to showcase new products and seasonal collections


• Monitor social media trends and opportunities within the crafting/fiber arts space


• Engage authentically with our community of makers and crafters


• Strong writing skills and natural storytelling ability


• Genuine interest in crafting, fiber arts, or creative communities


• Experience with social media platforms and content creation tools


• Basic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)


• Event planning or coordination experience (even informal/volunteer experience counts)


• Self-motivated with excellent time management skills


• Enthusiastic, creative personality that aligns with our welcoming brand
