Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintenance of our bus fleet across the three depots at Port Botany, Bondi Junction & Randwick.
  • Perform operations on machinery with complex electrical/electronic circuitry controls and work on complex control systems involving electrical, electronic, mechanical or fluid power principles.
  • diagnose faults in electrical and computer‑controlled systems, communications, vehicle monitoring/tracking, CCTV and other equipment.
  • Operate diagnostic computers/tools, multimeters, load testing equipment and other tools to undertake vehicle maintenance.
The Talent You Bring
  • Current NSW MVTC Auto Electrician trade certificate (essential).
  • Current HR licence (or current C class licence with ability to obtain HR).
  • Computer literacy with the ability to record accurate maintenance information.
  • Experience with scan tools is essential.
  • Experience in bus maintenance and public transport operations (desirable).

Hours of Work

You will work a 2-week rotating roster: 6:00am–2:30pm and 10:30am–7:00pm (15% shift loading is paid for the whole shift). An optional overtime shift is available approximately once a month on Sundays (2:30pm–10:30pm) with travel between depots required.
