Job Title: Accounts Payable Supervisor
Our client, a leading and reputable statutory body in the Melbourne CBD, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented team leader to manage the entire AP function. The successful candidate will ensure all payment processes are efficient and accurate.
The role is ideal for individuals who value inclusiveness, support, and respect, and thrive in a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the Accounts Payable department
- Lead, supervise, and support a small team
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
- Prepare and review financial reports and statements to support internal and external reporting requirements
- Manage and resolve accounts payable inquiries and issues promptly
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Demonstrated experience using SAP or comparable ERP system
- Strong ability to lead, mentor, and support a team to achieve performance targets and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
