IT Service Desk Officer

• Band 5 - $80,961.40 + superannuation
• Preston Location, close to public transport

We're looking for someone with solid communication skills combined and with a drive to build their technical capabilities and IT career.

You will be providing Level 1 and Level 2 technical support across the company, in person or over the phone and seek to respond promptly to incidents and service requests. The support includes troubleshooting of Windows 10 OS, Office 365, Active Directory, Apple, and Android mobile devices.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

• Providing Level 1 & Level 2 IT technical support to Darebin staff Working closely with other IT units.
• Taking ownership for the full lifecycle of Service Request, Incidents, Problems and Changes
• Provisioning of IT hardware and software

Skills & Experience

• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
• Experience in the use of service management tools as well as call management systems.
• A clear understanding of the processes and terminology associated with the ITIL framework i.e. Service Requests, Incidents, Problems and Change Management.
• Strong experience in providing day to day IT user support via phone, email, face to face & remote access tools.
• Microsoft certifications in relevant areas of information systems or equivalent working experience.
