Position Overview

This is for our Rockdale service catering for 79 children across three learning rooms. As a Certificate III Assistant Educator, you will support your Room Leader and fellow educators in delivering engaging, high-quality programs that foster curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every child. This is a chance to be part of a new Centre from the very beginning, helping to create a warm, inclusive space where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn.

Responsibilities
  • Support educators in delivering exciting, play-based learning experiences.
  • Build nurturing and respectful relationships with children and families.
  • Assist with daily routines, activities, and care needs in your room.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging learning environment.
  • Contribute ideas to program planning and learning activities.
  • Follow all health, safety, and compliance procedures.
Qualifications And Skills
  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
  • Child Protection training/certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Positive, team-focused attitude and strong communication skills
  • Passion for working with children and supporting their development
