Animal Emergency Centre Varsity Lakes is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Director to join their team. The Animal Emergency Centres (AECs) provide premier after-hours veterinary care to sick and injured pets and are part of the largest emergency and specialist group in Australia, hosting the country's largest contingent of Emergency Veterinarians and Criticalists.

The role offers a unique opportunity to expand your experience and leadership skills, contributing to the ongoing success of the business. You will be the clinical leader, helping to create a supportive and harmonious workplace, and assist with reporting, history reviews, and management tasks alongside the Business Manager.

AEC Varsity Lakes is a purpose-built 24/7 emergency and critical care centre equipped with advanced facilities, including multi-parameter monitors, in-house laboratory, endoscope, digital X-ray, ultrasound, and an on-site ventilator.

Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of emergency veterinary experience
  • Experience in ECC is essential; memberships are highly regarded
  • Leadership and motivation skills with a passion for creating a supportive learning environment
  • Excellent organization, communication, and management skills
  • Strong patient focus and compassion
