About This Role

Only About Children Elsternwick are looking for a passionate ECT to lead the 4 year old Kinder room. OAC Elsternwick, a beautifully 108 place childcare centre, offers a warm and spacious environment for both children and our wonderful team. We prioritise creating a fun, supportive atmosphere where children can thrive and reach their individual potential.

The Role

This opportunity is for a Teacher level 1-5 (Teacher Award).

Only About Children's early learning Campuses have been designed to inspire 0–6-year-olds to grow, learn and discover. Spanning across three levels with age-specific learning environments, the Campuses have an open, but feeling. The playgrounds and resources are designed to facilitate the latest and most interactive designs to ensure a fun and entertaining time for our children.

Key Duties
  • Planning and implementing the educational program which values a holistic view of each child's development
  • Maintaining ongoing records of the children's development, program and daily information
  • Assisting with daily room tasks – e.g. activity preparation and mealtimes
  • Assuring the high quality of services in consideration of the National Quality Standards
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant Government Regulations
  • Guiding team members with their professional development, individual goals and performance.
Requirements Of The Role
  • A Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or equivalent ACECQA approved teaching qualifications
  • Valid VIT registration (Early Childhood)
  • Experience in planning and implementing the educational program which values a holistic view of each child's development
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF
  • Effective implementation of pedagogy in your teaching practice
  • Valid employee Working with Children Check number
