Join Our Team at Bulli Fun Club - Second in Charge.

We're Big Fat Smile, a not-for-profit organisation providing early education across Australia. This is a permanent, part-time role (30 hours per week) for Before and After School Care and Vacation Care, located at Bulli Public School.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care and education to school‑aged children.
  • Incorporate ideas and expertise to create a fun-filled environment.
  • Develop respectful, long-lasting relationships with parents, carers and fellow educators.
  • Implement programs in line with Big Fat Smile policies, the National Quality Framework and Child Protection Legislation; work closely with the Director.
  • Support the team and leadership within the service to ensure safe, inclusive practice.
What You Need To Succeed
  • A cleared valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) for paid work.
  • Diploma of Children's Services or related qualification (desirable).
  • Experience as a support worker, SLSO, OOSH Educator/2IC, or with school-aged children.
  • Outstanding communication skills with families and the community.
  • Strong commitment to work health and safety.
  • Understanding and experience in implementing educational programs and leadership within the centre as the Educational Leader.
