Graduate Engineer 2026 | Mechanical (Melbourne) – ADP Consulting. Join a national graduate cohort and start your engineering career with a company committed to learning, innovation and culture. We are currently recruiting graduates into our Mechanical Team in Melbourne for a February 2026 start. To be eligible, you must hold or be in the final year of an Engineering degree ideally with a focus in Mechanical Engineering and have full working rights in Australia.

What is your role?

As a Graduate at ADP Consulting, you'll contribute to meaningful, sustainability-led projects while being supported by industry mentors and technical experts in Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities
  • Working on real projects with support from experienced engineers and leaders
  • Participating in monthly national graduate learning sessions (e.g. ESG in Consulting, Personal Branding, and Saying Yes to Opportunities)
  • Engaging with clients, architects, and stakeholders to deliver impactful designs
  • Accessing a learning platform with over 97,000 professional resources
  • Receiving support for Engineers Australia Chartership
  • Joining a vibrant social and wellness culture including fitness classes, book club, and team events
  • Having the opportunity to fast-track development through a high-performance graduate stream
About you

You're a soon-to-be or recent Mechanical Engineering Graduate who is enthusiastic, curious, and ready to contribute to a better built environment. You bring a growth mindset and a passion for collaborative problem-solving. You are:

  • A clear communicator and team player
  • Interested in sustainability and technical innovation
  • Self-motivated and open to new experiences
  • Comfortable in dynamic, fast-paced environments
  • Eligible to work in Australia (citizen, PR, or NZ citizen)
