Titan Capital is a premier non-bank lender specialising in SME loans, committed to providing fast, flexible, and innovative financial solutions. As our company continues to expand, we are seeking a Credit Analyst to join our growing credit team.

About the Role

We now have an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Credit Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating our lending credit function, evolving, and maintaining lending policies in line with industry and risk changes, and the credit approval process. You will join a team of credit analysts and work closely with other departments to support our financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinating the underwriting of commercial mortgage applications whilst maintaining lending policies and procedures to ensure effective credit lending in line with industry and risk expectations.

•Overall risk oversight and assessments minimising fraud, credit, and operational losses by applying appropriate credit decision.

•Facilitate the credit approval process, including the evaluation of loan applications and creditworthiness of potential borrowers in the non-NCCP lending space.

•Prepare clear, thorough and informative credit papers for each application, analysing the relevant risks, strengths, and mitigations in line with credit and funding lending criteria.

•Identify areas of process improvements and efficiencies where possible.

•Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices in lending credit management.

•Identify lending issues, collaborating and negotiating with internal and external clients to resolve disputes, escalating these to management where appropriate.

•Collaborate with sales, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment of lending policies with business objectives.

•Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, brokers, and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored lending solutions.

•Gather customer and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve lending products and services.

About You

As our newest team member we'd prefer:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in residential and/or commercial mortgage lending credit assessment.
• Currently hold a Delegated Lending Authority (DLA).
• Strong understanding of lending credit assessment, financial analysis, and lending policies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of the regulatory environment.
• Enthusiasm and passion for learning.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• High degree of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.
• Ability to work both autonomously and in a team, in a high-pressure work environment to meet service level agreements.
• Proven time management skills and organisational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
