Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client-Centered Assessments: Conduct assessments, including home safety, functional, and workplace evaluations to meet NDIS standards. Independently assess complex participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical level of function. Use clinical observations and standardized assessments and interpret findings to formulate treatment goals.

  3. Collaborative Care: Partner with healthcare providers and clients' families to achieve coordinated outcomes and capacity-building goals.
  4. Case Management: Attend case conferences, health care meetings, and provide consultation as needed.
  5. Accurate Documentation: Ensure timely and precise records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes to maintain transparency and quality.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Engage in clinical supervision and quality improvement activities, contributing to team performance and innovation.

Essential Requirements:

  1. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  2. Certification: Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  3. Experience: Demonstrated skills in assessments and interventions, ideally within the NDIS sector.
