FULL TIME 38 HOURS PER WEEK MINIMUM 4 WEEKS ANNUAL LEAVE. Salary Plus Super. $80K PA - $100K PA.

Propix Pty Ltd, trading as Jamberoo Action Park, is looking for an Electrician (General) for our site located in Jamberoo NSW 2533. Jamberoo Action Park is a family-friendly water theme park featuring a range of water slides, wave pools, and attractions including The Funnel Web and The Perfect Storm. It also offers calmer experiences like the Rapid River and a chairlift with views of the Illawarra escarpment.

This role supports the park's maintenance and leadership teams. To be considered, you need a relevant industry qualification and more than 2 years of experience in a similar role. A provisional or full license is required.

Responsibilities
  • Design, assemble, install, test, commission, diagnose, maintain, repair, and service electrical networks, systems, circuits, equipment, components, appliances, and facilities
  • Service and repair lifts, escalators, and related equipment
  • Inspect and maintain ride control systems to ensure roller coasters, water slides, and amusement rides operate safely and reliably
  • Install, service, and test pump and filtration systems critical to water attractions and pools, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations
  • Carry out preventative maintenance on lighting and power systems across the park, including high-traffic public areas, food courts, and entertainment zones
  • Respond to urgent electrical faults during operating hours, troubleshooting quickly to minimize downtime and ensure guest safety
  • Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams to implement upgrades, energy efficiency measures, and emergency power systems during peak seasons
Requirements & Experience
  • Relevant industry qualification
  • More than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • A provisional license or full license
