Overview

As our Technical Product Analyst - AI, you'll translate AI use cases into scalable, responsible, and impactful solutions. Working closely with the AI Product Lead, data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, you'll help shape the future of AI at nib by bridging technical capabilities with business needs.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in cross-functional environments, understands the lifecycle of AI/ML products, and is passionate about emerging technologies and responsible AI practices.

What you\'ll do
  • Translate AI use cases into clear, testable product requirements and workflows
  • Document business rules, acceptance criteria, and evaluation metrics
  • Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and testing cycles
  • Assist in embedding responsible AI practices and governance into development workflows
  • Capture model documentation, risks, and approval checklists
  • Contribute to post-deployment monitoring plans for AI models
  • Validate solutions against business requirements and assess organisational readiness
  • Act as a translator between technical and non-technical audiences
  • Support stakeholder engagement, training, and adoption of AI tools
Let\'s talk about you
  • 2+ years\' experience in data science, analytics, or AI-related roles
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to work across technical and business domains
  • Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, model lifecycle, and technical terminology
  • Experience in systems business analysis within large or complex environments
  • Familiarity with agile work practices and product development cycles
  • Exposure to Generative AI or MLOps tools (desirable)
  • Experience with model governance or responsible AI practices (desirable)
  • SQL coding and data manipulation skills (desirable)
  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology (desirable)
