Rehabilitation Consultant - Psychologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor or Social Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Rehabilitation Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a vital role in the provision of workplace rehabilitation services, helping individuals regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including psychological, vocational, and functional evaluations, to identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers and design effective programs to support injured employees in returning to the workforce.
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, medical practitioners, and employers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Develop and implement RTW plans, ensuring seamless coordination between all parties involved.
  • Provide Vocational Assessments and Transferable Skills Analyses to aid in career transition and goal setting.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or Rehabilitation Counselling, and current registration with AASW or ASORC or AHPRA (provisional accepted).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the capacity to manage complex cases and negotiate effective solutions.
  • Determination to provide exceptional customer service, consistently delivering high-quality outcomes that meet client needs.
