Primary Purpose of the Role

The Business Performance Partner is the key and consistent point of contact for their assigned customer group, ensuring their financial back-office runs smoothly while unlocking long-term value from Visory's services. Responsibilities include onboarding, managing ongoing service delivery, resolving major issues, and proactively engaging clients with insights and advice to improve retention and renewal outcomes. This role works with the Customer Solutions team, Marketplace Experts, and Quality Review and Automation tooling to deliver Visory's service promise. It also acts as a strategic adviser to maximise platform and service use while identifying growth and improvement opportunities, and bridging customer needs with internal teams.

Objectives & Metrics
  • High customer satisfaction & retention (CSAT)

  • Proactive account management for renewals
  • Delivery of Insights product to the customer base
Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship & Account Health: Serve as the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of Visory customers; proactively engage to ensure satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth; identify opportunities for service expansion; advocate for customers to internal teams.
  • Onboarding & Change Management: Oversee onboarding; guide customers through training and change management; maintain accurate documentation.
  • Service Quality & Issue Resolution: Ensure overall account health; act as escalation point for major issues; coordinate with Quality Reviewers and Experts; address bottlenecks.
  • Deliver Insights Product: Lead regular meetings to provide insights and advice; use financial data to guide improvements; ensure adoption and engagement with Insights; translate trends into strategic recommendations.
  • Process Improvement & Automation Feedback: Partner with Certified Experts to identify workflow inefficiencies; provide feedback to Product Team to enhance automation and quality checks; champion platform adoption.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Accounting degree and CA qualification.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles (e.g., Business Advisory, Client Accounting, Virtual CFO, Public Practice).
  • Strong understanding of financial operations and back-office workflows.
  • Excellent communicator capable of clarifying complex financial concepts for business owners.
  • Ability to analyse data and translate insights into action plans.
  • Proficiency with digital tooling and workflow platforms and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Change management experience in SME environments.
  • Bonus: startup experience or running your own business. We value energy, hunger, humility, and intelligence.
