Your New Role

Looking to step into a role that rewards your expertise? As the Team Leader of Financial Accounting, you'll take ownership of multi-entity financial operations across Australia and New Zealand, assist with corporate reporting and lead a high-performing team. Working closely with senior leaders and property managers, you will have a genuine impact on the financial success of the business.

At a Glance, You Will
  • Manage a portfolio of properties and be responsible for the production of monthly financial reporting including P&L, Balance Sheet reconciliations, BAS and cash flow statements for a number of clients across Australia and NZ
  • Partner with Property Managers and operational teams to drive performance, produce regular re-forecasts and annual budgets
  • Assist with corporate accounting tasks including BAS, FBT, annual audits and financial statement preparation, debtors management and corporate budgets
  • Mentor and develop a minimum of 3 direct reports, guiding their growth and success, as part of a wider team of 25-30 accounting professionals
  • Identify and implement process improvements that make a real difference

What We're looking For
  • Unrestricting working rights in Australia
  • CA/CPA qualified with 2+ years of post-qualification experience
  • Proven experience with multi-entity reporting and variance analysis
  • Confident team leader who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Strong communicator with excellent analytical and Excel skills
  • Experience in property or accommodation sectors (ideal, not essential)
