Own and evolve product and operations in a mission-led edtech start-up.About Arya

Arya is a purpose-led edtech company delivering personal safety awareness training to Jewish community organisations in Australia and the U.S. Our mission is to make communities safer, more resilient, and better prepared — through training that is engaging, accessible, and impactful.

Our core product is a subscription-based Learning Solution, which combines Arya's proprietary training courses with our LMS platform to deliver an integrated learning experience. Customers gain access to Arya's unique content library, delivered seamlessly through our platform and supported by features and services.

In addition to our core solution, Arya also offers bespoke customisations and content for clients, along with add-on features and products. Together, this positions Arya as a comprehensive training partner for communities worldwide. As we grow globally, our purpose remains the same: empowering community-based organisations and individuals to build resilience in the face of antisemitism.

The Role

This is a unique opportunity to step into a role that sits at the intersection of product, operations, and customer experience. You'll own the systems and processes that power Arya today (our LMS, CRM, and content production), while also helping shape the new products and experiences that will define our future.

We're looking for a rockstar who:

  • Is excited by touching all aspects of product, operations, and users.
  • Thrives on autonomy and wants to grow into senior leadership as Arya scales.
  • Loves the idea of building from scratch, streamlining existing processes, and stamping their mark.
  • Equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves to resolve day-to-day issues as you are contributing to strategic and innovative direction.
Responsibilities

Product

  • End-to-End Product Ownership: Manage Arya's product as an integrated learning solution — bringing together proprietary content, the LMS platform, and client-facing features.
  • Content Production: Oversee the delivery of Arya's proprietary courses, coordinating external creatives and subject matter experts, and optimising the production pipeline for efficiency and quality.
  • LMS: Manage and optimise the customer-facing platform experience with a UX/UI mindset, ensuring smooth learner journeys and high adoption.
  • New Product Features & Incubation: Take ownership of existing and in-progress add-ons, carry them over the finish line, and lead future feature rollouts such as gamification and recognition programs.
  • Client-Facing Alignment: Ensure the product delivers measurable impact for customers, including custom deliverables.

Operations

  • CRM Ownership: Take full responsibility for Arya's CRM, the central hub connecting content, LMS, and client journeys.
  • Process Optimisation: Identify and implement new systems, tools, and methods (including AI technologies) to streamline operations across content, product, and customer experience.
  • Customer Experience & Support: Provide pragmatic, hands-on support when needed (e.g., resolving user or client issues), ensuring a seamless customer journey.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Founder & CEO, Director of Partnerships (New York), and Financial Controller (Sydney) to align product and operational execution with Arya's strategic goals.
Success in Your First Year Will Look Like
  • Mastery of HubSpot, with ownership of customer journeys, workflows and automations.
  • Content production pipeline optimised, with delivery timelines reduced and bottlenecks removed.
  • Develop a freemium product: an open, publicly accessible trial experience to drive adoption and support a product-led growth strategy.
  • Reporting product and self-service onboarding portal launched successfully.
  • Arya's LMS optimised for user adoption and improved learner experience.
About You

Experience: 4–7 years in SaaS, edtech, or product-driven environments, spanning product operations, systems management, or project management.

Strengths (demonstrated track record in):

  • End-to-end product ownership — successfully managing learning solutions, platforms, or SaaS products that integrate content, systems, and client-facing features.
  • Operational excellence — streamlining processes, implementing new systems or technologies, and solving problems with innovative solutions
  • Product feature rollouts — taking new tools or features from build to launch, with measurable impact on customer experience or engagement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Project management and organisational skills.

Mindset:

  • Ambitious to grow into a senior leadership role.
  • You can wear many hats who thrives on variety and cross-functional ownership.
  • Technically confident — comfortable learning and implementing new tech stacks.
  • Entrepreneurial, problem-solving, hands-on, and pragmatic.
  • Excited to "build from scratch" and optimise existing processes.
  • Motivated by Arya's mission and purpose.
Why Join Arya?
  • Purpose-driven: Be part of a mission that matters — delivering safety, resilience, and awareness training to communities and individuals that need it most.
  • Impactful: This is a high-autonomy role where your work will directly shape the product, operations, and user experience of a growing company.
  • Growth pathway: A career that expands into senior leadership in product, operations, and user experience, with the mandate to build and lead your own teams over time.
  • Collaboration & exposure: Work directly with leadership across Sydney and New York, plus board level and client-facing responsibilities.
  • Flexibility: Hybrid work model, with opportunities for domestic and international travel as Arya expands.
  • Professional development: Budget available for learning and growth (courses, conferences, certifications).
  • Looking forward to meeting some champions who want to amplify an impactful learning solution,
  • Arya
