The Opportunity

We've built a solid lab here in Dubbo (NSW) with a solid crew on board. Now we need a hands-on leader who's a good communicator to keep things running smoothly day-to-day.

You'll be leading a team of soil and concrete techs, making sure the work's done right and projects are finished on time. You'll also be the go-to for our clients, keep NATA standards up to scratch, and help bring on and train new starters — all while looking for ways to keep the lab running better.

Your Role Will Include:

• Leading and mentoring your team across lab and field testing
• Managing project timelines, budgets, and client expectations
• Performing and reviewing complex soil testing
• Upholding NATA compliance and safety standards
• Building strong client relationships
• Driving operational and technical improvements

What We're Looking For:

• 6+ years' CMT experience - You may be a Senior Tech, Supervisor, Annex Manager or Lab Manager looking for the next step up or opportunity. We\'re open to discussions
• Previous lab / annex lab management OR solid CMT experience with excellent people skills
• Commercial and client-facing experience (ideal)
• NATA Signatory experience highly regarded
• Solid knowledge of Australian Standards
• Nuclear Density Gauge licence (essential)
• Current driver\'s licence
• A mentor's mindset – able to support junior and senior techs alike
