About The Team

The Youth Frontiers program, delivered by YWCA Australia in partnership with Kids First Australia, creates supportive spaces where adolescents build confidence, discover their voice, and take charge of their own growth and impact. We support female and/or gender diverse adolescents (aged 10 to 17) mentees in the child protection system to connect with strong role models and build the confidence to pursue their goals with power and choice.

About This Opportunity

In this role you will:

  • Support mentees during scheduled activities, promoting inclusion and personal growth.
  • Safely transport mentees using the organisation's vehicle, following all policies.
  • Create a safe, respectful space that prioritises the wellbeing of young women.
  • Build trust-based mentoring relationships through regular, meaningful contact.
  • Document mentoring sessions to support program evaluation and improvement.
About You

Your experience may include:

  • Certificate in Community Services, Education, Nursing, or a related field, or currently working towards one.
  • Experience in a similar role or sector
  • Ability to work sensitively with people with complex needs
  • Not-for-Profit experience will be highly regarded
