About the role

An exciting career opportunity exists in our Newcastle officefor a motivated lawyer or associate to join our leading insurancepractice, focusing on motor accident (CTP) claims.

This role offers the chance to work on a mix of litigated andnon-litigated matters involving complex liability, quantum andmedical issues — providing valuable experience in handlinglarge-scale and technical personal injury claims. You'll workdirectly with a highly regarded partner within a collegiate,friendly and well-supported team, including paralegal andsecretarial assistance.

About you

We are looking for a lawyer with:

• Experience in personal injury claims — eitherplaintiff or defendant (CTP or other personal injury experienceis welcome but not essential)
• An interest in developing expertise in the motor accidentspace and broader insurance litigation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive, collaborative approach to work
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meetdeadlines
