Overview

Teacher Secondary School (SACE) Year 11 and 12 at Trinity College South Australia. The successful applicant will have a sound knowledge of SACE teaching, planning and moderation and the appropriate pedagogy to engage and achieve successful student outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Play a vital role in the delivery of the senior school curricular at Trinity College Senior.
  • Demonstrate instructional practices that reliably increase student learning.
  • Support the Christian ethos of the College and contribute to the College's Christian life.
  • Engage in pastoral care and participate in the College's co-curricular programme.
  • Respond positively to the pressures of a modern classroom and set high standards for student learning and personal performance.
  • Manage the administrative details of the position and communicate effectively with a wide range of people both verbally and in writing.
  • Ensure compliance with the College's Child Safe policy and adhere to the Child Safety Code of Conduct.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in teaching and the identified subjects.
  • Registration to teach in South Australia or eligible to obtain registration.
  • Understanding of and commitment to Christian education.
  • Skills to contribute to the school's pastoral care and co-curricular programmes; strong interpersonal and cultural sensitivity.
  • Ability to work effectively in a modern classroom and manage administrative requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.

Trinity College is an Anglican, multi-site, independent college located in the northern Adelaide region. All staff support the Christian ethos and comply with the College's policies, including privacy and child safety policies.
