Cyber and InfoSec Recruitment Specialist - Building Contract and Permanent Cyber Teams Across Australia

Decipher Bureau have partnered with a large scale ASX listed brand to help find a Cloud Security professional who has some solid experience with security engineering tools.

The role is hybrid in their Sydney office, offering up to $140,000 + Super + an excellent bonus and benefits for the right person. The role also offers learning and long term career development opportunities.

This is a security engineering team that is embracing DevOps, automation, and cloud-native security tools to support a dynamic technology set up.

You will get exposure to projects, an excellent team and the chance to learn a deeper set of security tools in an enterprise environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Design, implement and continuously improve public cloud security controls across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to secure CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code deployments.
  • Maximise the value of security tooling, including CNAPP, EDR, and vulnerability management solutions.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and API integrations to drive efficiency and response capabilities.
  • Perform gap analyses and support proof of concepts to enhance security tooling and processes.

What You'll Bring:

  • 4+ years in security or cloud engineering, with strong knowledge of cloud security best practices
  • Experience with cloud platforms Azure, AWS or GCP
  • Hands-on exposure to CNAPP platforms (E.G Wiz, Prisma Cloud) and interest in expanding EDR knowledge (E.G Crowdstrike or similar)
  • Proficiency in scripting (E.G Python, PowerShell) and working with APIs in cloud environments.
  • Solid background in networking, Linux/Windows administration, and infrastructure as code (E.G Terraform)
