Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, leadership and love the excitement of working in retail? We're looking for our next Assistant Store Manager to join our team at our BRAND NEW BOUTIQUE OPENING IN OCTOBER.
ABOUT THE ROLE: The Assistant Store Manager drives exceptional customer service and operational excellence in our store. This role will support the Store Manager in ensuring efficient, seamless store operations while fostering a positive and professional store environment. The role involves upholding Francesca's values and standards, enhancing the customer experience and contributing to the store's overall success through effective team collaboration and leadership.
Responsibilities- Sales Targets - Meet individual sales targets and support and drive store targets as set and outlined in the business budgets and goals. Collaboratively work with the store team and management to review strategies to increase sales and meet targets.
- Stock and Inventory Control - Ensure that stock is maintained at appropriate levels to support management in ordering appropriate stock levels. Perform stocktake regularly to ensure inventory data is accurate and up to date.
- Visual Merchandising - Help maintain and implement the aesthetic and appearance of the store in line with brand guidelines
- Planning - Assist the Store manager in planning and implementing strategies to increase sales and attract customers to the store.
- Reporting - Track the progress of the weekly, monthly and annual KPIs.
- Performance - Assist the Store Manager to evaluate individuals performance and provide input into the hiring and training needs.
- Leadership - Support the Store Manager to ensure consistency within the Retail Team; Inspire and encourage employees to ensure a high level of morale.
- Other Duties - As directed that commensurate with skills and experience.

- Strong selling skills, ideally with experience in a boutique or one-on-one sales environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to initiate contact and speak clearly with customers.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, sales-driven atmosphere—our store can get busy
- A positive, "can-do" attitude and a love for being part of a successful team.
- Customer-focused mindset with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service.
- Experience in training and developing staff to improve their skills and performance.
- Experience in resolving conflicts among staff and handling difficult customer situations.
- In-depth knowledge of products sold in the store, including features, benefits and industry trends.
- Strong problem-solving skills to handle customer complaints, inventory issues and other unexpected challenges
- Efficiency managing time and prioritising tasks to ensure smooth store operations
- Minimum of 4 years retail store experience
Must be available to start from mid October 2025.
