Senior Analyst - Global Employer Tax Services

About the role

As a Senior Tax Analyst you will have an impact by helping employers in meeting their Australian employment tax and entitlement obligations including Superannuation Guarantee (SG), Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Pay-As-You-Go Withholding (PAYG W), Payroll Tax (PRT), Workers Compensation and broader Wage Compliance.

At RSM we have a heavy focus on integrating tax technology with tax technical work, and you will be supported in developing the skills to:

  • Preparation of shadow payroll calculations
  • Preparation of expatriate tax returns
  • Employment tax advisory services (FBT, payroll tax, PAYG Withholding, Superannuation)
  • Development of analytics capabilities to create efficiencies in the preparation of employment tax compliance work, and assisting clients with their needs
  • Review of wage compliance
  • Preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax and payroll tax returns for employers
  • PAYG Withholding and instalment variations
  • Preparation of Superannuation Guarantee testing and Superannuation Guarantee Charge statements for ATO lodgement
  • Liaising with the ATO on client matters
About you

You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a professional services firm in a similar discipline and are passionate about learning and developing innovative solutions for clients using technology.

You are collaborative and enjoy working in an innovative team environment. You show integrity in your work, have strong attention to detail, and are a good communicator.

Data visualisation, cleaning and manipulation skills would be advantageous (not essential).
