Lendi Group is seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Engineer that will be part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team that will be designing, developing, and deploying AI systems that drive agentic AI Automation within the property buying and owning, mortgage broking and financial services sector. You will work at the intersection of AI, data, software engineering, and financial services, building cutting-edge solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experiences.

You will be reporting to a newly formed team within Lendi Group that is focused on AI driven initiatives, working side-by-side with a high performing, knowledgeable and fun team.

This is a unique opportunity to make an impact on our long-term vision to expand our AI capability across the enterprise. We are open to this being a full-time permanent position or a fixed-term contract arrangement. Due to the nature of the project, the incumbent will be required to work from our Sydney-based Head Office alongside the broader project team for four to five days per week.

Job Description
  • Develop a mobile app as the primary UI for the team's agentic AI Automation.
  • Writing clean, maintainable code for continuous integration and deployment, following best practices and mobile application guidelines.
  • Owning significant parts of the system, designing and delivering quality stable solutions.
  • Owning the code you and your team build, which means supporting debugging, monitoring and alerting in production.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Extensive current commercial app development experience with Android and iOS.
  • Deep knowledge of the iOS/Android development ecosystem.
  • Experience maintaining and publishing applications in Play Store and App Store through an automated CI/CD pipeline.
  • Deep understanding of the Testing Pyramid concept as well as experience in writing different types of automated tests (unit, component, end-to-end).
  • Experience integrating React Native mobile apps into backend systems and AI Agent interaction systems.
