The Metropolitan Cemetries Board (MCB) who manage 7 cemeteries and memorial parks across Greater Perth is seeking a Cremations Coordinator. This pivotal role is responsible for leading the delivery of safe, consistent, and quality cremation services across all MCB sites.
As part of Support Services within the Operations Division, this position leads resource management, training, operational support, and continuous service improvement initiatives ensuring our Cemetery Workers are equipped to meet service standards and operational goals. Other key responsibilities include;
Coordinating daily workflows and staffingacross multiple locations to meet service demands with care and efficiency.
Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholdersto ensure cremation services are delivered professionally and respectfully at every site.
Maintaining compliancewith all relevant legislation, policies, and codes of practice related to cremation services.
Ensuring accurate and secure record-keeping, including cremation documentation and associated data.
Implementing and monitoring governance frameworksto uphold organisational policies, procedures, and quality standards.
This position is primarily based atKarrakatta Cemetery, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is essential, as you may be required to work at other MCB sites depending on operational needs. Occasional Saturday work may also be required to support service delivery.

You have well-developed communication skills and can convey information clearly and respectfully across a range of audiences.
