Overview

Join to apply for the Product Design Team Lead role at Atomi. This is a hybrid role. You'll lead a small team of product designers while also working hands-on in one of our product squads.

What You'll Do
  • Set the product design strategy and ensure it aligns with our goals and user needs
  • Work with product leads and stakeholders to shape projects and plan design work
  • Manage and support product designers — giving feedback, coaching and helping them do their best work
  • Guide your squad's design work, creating clear, user-first designs like wireframes, prototypes and UI
  • Lead user research to inform design decisions and guide the broader product strategy
  • Maintain and improve our design system to keep things consistent, scalable and on-brand
  • Drive high design standards through regular feedback, reviews and effective ways of working
  • Share knowledge and champion design across Atomi, working closely with other design leaders
  • Keep up with industry trends and bring fresh ideas to help us stay ahead

  • Skilled in workflows, interaction design, information architecture and navigation
  • Creative thinking paired with a strategic mindset
  • Confident working with data to guide decisions
  • Experience with accessible design and design systems
  • Strong communicator — able to explain your thinking and bring others along
  • Great at working through ambiguity and helping teams stay focused
  • Deep knowledge of good design practices and how to work well in product teams
