This role is with local VIC Govt organisation impacting lives of Australians are seeking experienced Application analyst to work as part of a passionate, dynamic team. The Senior Applications Analyst ensures the efficient and secure operation of applications and associated integrations to various other systems. The role provides high-level technical, functional, and support for enterprise applications, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth operations that deliver innovative technology solutions in alignment with business needs and the IT Strategy.

Your new role

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Provide support to business users in the correct use of applications, managing these using incident system and escalating to support vendors as required
• Provide administrative support across applications as needed
• Monitor and analyse application performance
• Implement system updates, patches, and releases of relevant applications
• Maintain high-quality documentation for configurations, procedures and protocols related to the support and use of applications
• Provide support to IT projects in the areas of evaluation, business-case development, implementation, testing and integration of new applications
• Identify opportunities for application optimisation, redesign, or process improvement
• Investigate and diagnose application faults, performing root cause analysis when appropriate and providing suitable solutions
• Enhance the availability, performance and stability of applications
• Build and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders, routinely providing advice and solutions for requests and issues
• Participate in delivery of production changes, understanding change content, executing change control procedures, appropriate technical and business verification, and user communications
• Provide training to employees on the use of applications

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven work experience as a Senior Applications Analyst
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or relevant field
• Experience with one or more applications including: UniPhi, TechnologyOne, Nintex Workflow, SharePoint Online (Office 365), CRM
• Experience with low-code, Power Apps, Nintex, SQL database and systems integrations
• Experience in business analysis, gathering requirements and translating these to specifications for system improvements
